David Ahrens

David brings a unique perspective to the law and a passion for bettering the lives of others. For sixteen years before becoming an attorney, he owned and operated a small, community-based group home for individuals with autism. As a caregiver, David discovered that he had an enthusiasm and a gift for advocacy – that desire to fight for the best interests of others led him to the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, where he served as President of the Elder Law Society. Since opening his law practice in 2014, David has handled hundreds of elder law, probate and estate planning cases. David is a member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Boulder County Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
